Avantopool

Neoprene protection now available for ice bath users and ice-swimmers

Cold therapy is usually taken in very cold water, at a temperature between +4 and 10°C. In ice swimming, the water is normally even colder, from +1 to 4 degrees Celsius. When the water temperature is below +10 degrees, the cold can feel unpleasant around the pelvis and on the soles.

Avantopool neoprene shorts and socks protect the sensitive areas of the body and make cold therapy and ice swimming more pleasant. They are made of a neoprene material commonly used for clothing designed for water sports and diving. Neoprene is a synthetically manufactured rubber material. There are enclosed air bubbles evenly spread around the inside of the material, providing insulation and elasticity. The high-quality, 2 mm thick neoprene rubber is nylon jersey fabric coated on both sides for comfort.
